The vinometer is a quick and simple way of measuring the alcohol content of both beer and wines.
Scale : 0 - 25 vol.%.
Method: Fill the little funnel with wine or beer. Let a few drops run through the little tube and place one finger underneath the tube to stop dripping. Turn the vinometer upside-down and then take away the finger. Look at the level of the liquid in the tube and read the alcohol content.
In case of sweet and strong wines, dilute first with an equal volume of water. Mulitply the result by 2. Rinse well with cold water.
